The Sexuality of Black Women & Jill Scott

The recent viral clip of R&B star Jill Scott getting intimate with a microphone was the inspiration for this podcast episode.  It made me want to explore the stereotypes and myths about black women and sexuality.  It’s a difficult discussion because it’s rooted in both racism and sexism in this country.  From the moment our black female ancestors were taken from slave ships to step foot on American soul, they were objectified in every horrible way you can imagine. This episode may not be appropriate for a young audience.  Joining me in the conversation are community activist, organizer and entrepreneur, Chama St. Louis and returning guest Karen Wilson.  Let us know what you think about part one of our chat.
